The growing problem of solid waste and water pollution and the resultant menace of unhygienic environment and contagious diseases are casting a shadow over the wellness and growth of the entire state of Kerala.

World Malayalee Council (WMC), being concerned about this situation, has conceived a plan to utilize its global presence, network and expertise in global technology to evolve possible solutions for a suitable waste management system and to conduct awareness programmes for rebuilding a cleaner, greener and healthier environment. This could be achieved only through contribution, co-operation and participation with the local administration as well as the masses.

Green Kerala Foundation is the result of this thought. Let us put our hands together and help this state to transform itself to live up to its name.
